The Drugdiag Saliva 6+ Saliva Test from Toda Pharma laboratory is the most comprehensive screening device in our saliva range. In addition to the 5 classic narcotics (Cannabis, Cocaine, Heroin, Amphetamines, Ecstasy), it specifically detects Benzodiazepines.

Widely used by law enforcement and occupational health services, this test meets the increased safety needs against risks of drowsiness while driving (due to medication) and chemical submission situations. It is available individually or in an economical box of 25 tests.

Extended protection for your safety

Comprehensive Road Safety

A driver is not only dangerous under the influence of alcohol or cannabis. This test checks for the absence of psychotropic medications (anxiolytics, sleeping pills) incompatible with driving.

Workplace Prevention

Ideal for security positions. Benzodiazepine screening helps prevent serious accidents related to loss of alertness or drug interactions in the workplace.

Against Chemical Submission

Benzodiazepines are often misused for criminal purposes ("date rape drug"). This test allows quick verification in case of doubt after an evening out (reliable detection at 30 ng/mL).

Why choose this 6-drug test?

  • Wide Spectrum: Detects 6 substance families in a single saliva sample.
  • Toda Pharma Expertise: Made by the No.1 rapid diagnostic company in France.
  • Focus on Benzodiazepines: Detection of molecules often missed by standard tests.
  • Simplicity: All-in-one test, hygienic and fast (results in a few minutes).
  • Flexibility: Sold individually (for individuals) or by box of 25 (screening campaigns).

Precise detection thresholds

This table details the 6 detected substances and their cut-off thresholds:

Substance Detection threshold (ng/mL)
THC (Cannabis) 15 ng/mL
COC (Cocaine) 20 ng/mL
AMP (Amphetamines) 50 ng/mL
MET (Methamphetamines) 50 ng/mL
MDMA (Ecstasy) 50 ng/mL
BZO (Benzodiazepines) 30 ng/mL
Specific screening threshold

💊 Important: Benzodiazepines & Medications

This test reacts to a widely used class of medications (Xanax, Valium, Lexomil...).

For individuals: A positive BZO result can be normal if you are undergoing medical treatment. However, it confirms impaired alertness incompatible with driving.

For employers: Workplace drug screening is strictly regulated. Feel free to contact our customer service in Strasbourg for support with your procedures.

Packaging

Choose the format that suits your needs:

  • Single unit: Sterile individual pouch (Test + Instructions).
  • Box of 25: Professional packaging for screening campaigns.

French manufacturing and medical quality

Toda Pharma, a French manufacturer of drug screening tests, was one of the first European laboratories to develop a rapid serological test for coronavirus detection as early as February 2020 and was validated by the National Reference Center (CNR), the Pasteur Institute, and the French Ministry of Solidarity and Health.

A study was conducted in 3 hospitals by different operators on 3 separate batches of each drug at concentrations of 0ng/ml, +/- 25%, and +/- 50% of the detection threshold for the drug in question. All results met expectations. The detailed tables of all results are available to users upon request.

Licenses & Drugs: Avoid Penalties

In France, driving after using narcotics, including cannabis, is strictly prohibited.

Since 2008 (Article L235-2 of the Highway Code), law enforcement can carry out a saliva test for THC screening.

In 2025, the regulations were strengthened:

  • Law No. 2025-622 increased penalties: up to 3 years imprisonment and a €9,000 fine.
  • A positive test results in an immediate administrative suspension of the license.
  • An automatic 6-point deduction applies.

CBD may contain residual THC detectable by our tests, leading to the same penalties.

Frequently Asked Questions about Screening

How long does THC remain detectable in saliva?

The detection time of THC in saliva varies depending on your habits. For an occasional smoker, expect 6 to 8 hours. For a regular user, it can last 24 hours or even several days. Buying a saliva test is the only way to know exactly how long it takes your body to eliminate the substance before driving.

Can CBD cause a positive saliva test?

Yes, it is a major risk. Legal CBD in France contains traces of THC (up to 0.3%). Frequent use accumulates these residues. During a police or gendarmerie check, this level can exceed the legal limit and cause your saliva test to be positive. Preventive self-testing is strongly recommended.

Is it exactly the same test as the police and the gendarmerie?

Absolutely. Our Drugdiag tests rigorously use the same detection threshold (15 ng/mL) as those set by the decree of December 13, 2016. These are the same thresholds used by the police and the gendarmerie during road checks. They offer professional reliability certified ISO 13485.

Are HHC, THCP, and other derivatives detected?

Yes. Screening devices cross-react with new synthetic molecules (HHC, H4CBD, THCP) because their structure is very close to classic cannabis. Driving under the influence of these derivatives exposes you to the same criminal penalties, especially since the tightening of the law on Road Homicide.

What to do if you have a positive saliva test at home?

If your self-test is positive, you are not fit to drive. Do not get behind the wheel to avoid losing 6 points and having your license suspended. Wait a few hours, stay hydrated, and take another test to confirm that you are below the legal limit again.

Do anti-THC sprays (Kleaner) work against a positive saliva test?

No. Our laboratory tests prove that detection devices remain positive even after using these sprays. Do not risk a positive saliva test during a roadside check. Buying a saliva test remains the only reliable method to verify your fitness to drive.
