Part of the Drugdiag® range from the French laboratory Toda Pharma, this test provides a preliminary result that must be interpreted according to the manufacturer’s instructions, the context of use and, where necessary, confirmation by a laboratory analytical method.
Cannabis, resin, marijuana, hashish and products containing Δ9-THC.
15 ng/mLImportant: the test does not target pure CBD. A CBD product containing traces of THC may produce a positive result.
A rapid indication of detectable THC in saliva at the 15 ng/mL threshold.
The 15 ng/mL threshold corresponds to the minimum threshold for roadside saliva screening in France; the result is not an authorisation to drive.
Suitable for prevention procedures involving safety-sensitive positions.
In saliva, the THC detection period varies according to frequency of use, quantity, time since the last use, metabolism and individual habits. There is no universal period that guarantees a negative Gendarmerie or Police test: only screening performed at the relevant time provides an indication.
Negative: a C line and a T line appear, even if the T line is faint.
Positive: the C line appears, but no T line appears.
Invalid: the test must be repeated.
A positive result indicates a reaction consistent with the presence of THC above the test threshold. Analytical confirmation may be required depending on the context. This preliminary result does not predetermine the outcome of an official test.
Product page written and updated by the AMA Prévention team. Information must be interpreted according to the manufacturer’s instructions, the context of use and the applicable rules.

L’apparition d’une ligne dans la zone de test (T), même si elle est très pâle ou à peine visible, doit être interprétée comme un résultat négatif.
Toda Pharma, a French manufacturer of drug screening tests, was one of the first European laboratories to develop a rapid serological test for coronavirus detection as early as February 2020 and was validated by the National Reference Center (CNR), the Pasteur Institute, and the French Ministry of Solidarity and Health.
A study was conducted in 3 hospitals by different operators on 3 separate batches of each drug at concentrations of 0ng/ml, +/- 25%, and +/- 50% of the detection threshold for the drug in question. All results met expectations. The detailed tables of all results are available to users upon request.
The Drugdiag® range is developed by Toda Pharma, a French laboratory specializing in rapid diagnostics. Among its products, the Drugdiag® Saliva 5+ holds the label “Used by the French Armed Forces”, awarded for this saliva test designed to detect THC, cocaine, amphetamines, methamphetamines/MDMA, and opiates.
This institutional recognition strengthens the credibility of the Drugdiag® range and reflects the quality, reliability, and performance standards sought by AMA Prévention for its screening solutions.

It detects Δ9-THC in saliva at a threshold of 15 ng/mL. The test provides a qualitative indication and does not measure the exact amount of cannabis consumed.
When the control line C is present, a visible T line, even if very faint, corresponds to a negative result according to the instructions. A C line alone corresponds to a preliminary positive result.
No specific time frame can be guaranteed. Detection varies depending on frequency, quantity, product consumed, time since last use, metabolism, and sampling conditions.
The test detects THC, not CBD. However, a CBD product containing traces of THC can lead to a positive result. A negative test never authorizes driving.
