Our remarkable participation in the SMSTO Congress: two days of exchanges, discoveries and engagement

Last week, we had the pleasure of participating in the Western Society of Occupational Health Medicine (SMSTO) Congress on Thursday, October 9 and Friday, October 10, 2025, at the Palais du Grand Large in Saint-Malo. This event brought together approximately 350 participants —occupational physicians, nurses, prevention specialists, QHSE managers, and prevention stakeholders—to discuss key themes such as mental health, addictions, and new approaches to prevention in the workplace.

An engaged audience and rich discussions

From the very beginning of the show, our booth generated a great deal of interest. The professionals in attendance expressed genuine curiosity about our solutions and their practical application in businesses and occupational health services. These constructive discussions enabled us to identify new needs and strengthen our support in preventing risks associated with psychoactive substances.

Presentation of the Toda Pharma range

We presented the complete range of Toda Pharma (Drugdiag®) screening tests : CE-certified saliva and urine tests, compliant with ISO 13485 , manufactured in France and used by numerous institutional players. The on-site demonstrations illustrated the reliability, speed and ease of use of our medical devices. Visitors were able to discuss usage protocols, regulatory compliance and best screening practices directly with our team.

Our training and awareness courses

Beyond the products, we also presented our training and awareness courses dedicated to occupational health professionals. These modules aim to help teams better identify, understand and manage situations related to the use of psychoactive substances. We offer adaptable formats (intra-company, inter-company or e-learning), focused on prevention, education and kindness. Many visitors expressed their interest in these courses, particularly as part of the implementation of the Joana Plan .

Innovation focus: GHB and ketamine detection bracelets and cards

We took advantage of SMSTO to present our innovations in the prevention of chemical submission : bracelets and cards for detecting GHB and ketamine in drinks, developed in partnership with Toda Pharma . These tools allow for rapid, simple and discreet detection of the most common substances in cases of chemical submission, particularly in festive or professional environments.

The healthcare professionals present particularly appreciated the 100% French manufacturing of these products as well as their certified medical quality , a guarantee of reliability and safety. These innovations aroused real interest, particularly for their potential for integration into awareness campaigns, prevention protocols and risk reduction actions within companies and communities.

Very positive feedback

The feedback received over the two days was unanimously positive. Many visitors praised the quality of our products, the relevance of our training, and our comprehensive approach to prevention. Several organizations have already expressed interest in collaborating with AMA Prevention on concrete awareness-raising and screening initiatives.

Acknowledgments and Perspectives

We would like to warmly thank the SMSTO organizers for the quality of their welcome and discussions, as well as all the professionals who came to meet us. This conference was a great opportunity to showcase French expertise in screening and prevention, and to confirm our commitment alongside stakeholders in occupational health.

We are now continuing our discussions with participants in order to set up personalized demonstrations , tailor-made training and prevention actions adapted to the needs identified during the event.
