Like any blood alcohol device, it must be used according to the manufacturer's instructions. The result depends on the correct use of the device, the time elapsed after consumption, the mouthpiece used, maintenance, and calibration provided by the manufacturer.
The ETHYLEC should be considered a prevention tool. It does not replace prudent judgment: if consumption is recent, blood alcohol level may still increase during the absorption phase.
Field advice: wait the recommended time according to the instructions after the last consumption before blowing, to avoid a reading influenced by residual alcohol in the mouth.
