Our Notable Participation at the SMSTO Congress: Two Days of Exchange, Discovery, and Commitment

Last week, we had the pleasure of participating in the Congress of the Western Occupational Health Medicine Society (SMSTO) on Thursday, October 9 and Friday, October 10, 2025 at the Palais du Grand Large in Saint-Malo. This event brought together around 350 participants — occupational physicians, nurses, prevention specialists, QHSE managers, and prevention stakeholders — around key topics such as mental health, addictions, and new prevention approaches in the workplace.

An engaged audience and rich exchanges

From the opening of the event, our booth attracted strong interest. The professionals present showed genuine curiosity about our solutions and their practical application in companies and occupational health services. These constructive exchanges allowed us to identify new needs and strengthen our support in preventing risks related to psychoactive substances.

Presentation of the Toda Pharma range

We presented the complete range of Toda Pharma screening tests (Drugdiag®): CE-certified saliva and urine tests, compliant with ISO 13485 standards, French manufacturer, and used by many institutional actors. The on-site demonstrations illustrated the reliability, speed, and ease of use of our medical devices. Visitors were able to discuss directly with our team about usage protocols, regulatory compliance, and best screening practices.

Our training and awareness workshops

Beyond the products, we also presented our training and awareness workshops dedicated to occupational health professionals. These modules aim to help teams better identify, understand, and manage situations related to psychoactive substance use. We offer adaptable formats (in-company, inter-company, or e-learning), focused on prevention, education, and kindness. Many visitors expressed interest in these programs, especially in the context of implementing the Joana Plan.

Innovation focus: GHB and ketamine detection bracelets and cards

We took advantage of SMSTO to present our innovations in chemical submission prevention: bracelets and detection cards for GHB and ketamine in drinks, developed in partnership with Toda Pharma. These tools allow quick, simple, and discreet detection of the most common substances in chemical submission cases, especially in festive or professional environments.

The health professionals present particularly appreciated the 100% French manufacturing of these products as well as their certified medical quality, guaranteeing reliability and safety. These innovations generated genuine interest, notably for their potential integration into awareness campaigns, prevention protocols, and risk reduction actions within companies and communities.

Very positive feedback

The feedback collected during these two days was unanimously positive. Many visitors praised the quality of our products, the relevance of our training, and our comprehensive prevention approach. Several organizations have already expressed interest in collaborating with AMA Prévention on concrete awareness and screening actions.

Thanks and outlook

We warmly thank the SMSTO organizers for the quality of the welcome and exchanges, as well as all the professionals who came to meet us. This congress was a great opportunity to showcase French expertise in screening and prevention and to confirm our commitment alongside occupational health stakeholders.

We are now continuing our discussions with participants to set up personalized demonstrations, tailored training, and prevention actions adapted to the needs identified during the event.

💡 Practical information on screening

During a roadside check, the police saliva test is commonly used to detect the presence of drugs. Many wonder about how long the police saliva drug test remains positive: it depends on metabolisms, but THC remains detectable for several hours to a few days. The police saliva THC test (or THC saliva test police) specifically targets recent cannabis use.

For prevention at home or in the workplace, performing a THC saliva test (also called THC saliva test) is an excellent approach. If you are looking to equip yourself, you might wonder where to buy an equivalent police saliva test? Although it can sometimes be difficult to find a THC saliva test in pharmacies, you can order our professional devices directly online.

🚨 Road Safety Reminder

Driving under the influence of drugs is severely punished by law. Anticipate with a reliable self-test before getting behind the wheel.
