Prevention and Awareness Campaign at the Ordinary Festival 2023

Together for a Responsible Celebration in Strasbourg

At the heart of the excitement of the Festival Ordinaire 2023 in Strasbourg, a committed team set out to promote a culture of responsible and safe partying. Through a prevention and awareness campaign, we worked tirelessly to ensure the health and well-being of all festival-goers.

Concrete Actions for Everyone’s Safety

At our stand in the heart of the festival, we distributed a range of essential materials for safe partying. Drink Safe GHB Detector cards were made available to detect dangerous substances, glass condoms were handed out to prevent the intrusion of dangerous substances without our knowledge and to avoid spills, anti-drug scrunchies were offered to raise awareness of the risks, condoms were provided to promote sexual health, breathalyzers were distributed to encourage responsible consumption, all accompanied by informative documentation.

The Importance of Ensuring Festival-Goers’ Safety

Beyond the festive atmosphere and lively music, festival organizers have a crucial responsibility for the safety of their attendees. The risks related to drug and alcohol use, as well as the dangers of chemical submission, are major concerns at any festive event. By providing prevention tools such as breathalyzers, dangerous substance detectors, and information on the risks associated with consumption, we help educate and raise awareness among festival-goers so they can make informed decisions about their own safety. Additionally, road safety is a key concern, especially when alcohol is involved. By promoting safe transport alternatives, such as shuttle services or carpooling, we help ensure that the celebration remains a celebration without compromising anyone’s safety.

A Big Thank You to All Involved

This campaign would not have been possible without the unwavering commitment of our dedicated volunteers, who gave their time and energy to ensure the initiative’s success. Their determination and passion for prevention were truly inspiring.

We also want to express our gratitude to the Ordinaire association for their valuable collaboration and proactive approach to festival-goer safety. Their support was a key pillar of our campaign.

Finally, a huge thank you to Sophigraphie for the beautiful photos capturing the spirit of our commitment to prevention and safety.

Let’s Keep Promoting Responsible Celebrations

Together, we have shown that a celebration can be fun while remaining safe and respectful. We are proud of the work accomplished at Festival Ordinaire 2023, but our commitment to prevention does not stop there. We will continue to promote a culture of responsible partying, where everyone’s safety and well-being are paramount.

Thank you all for your support and involvement. Together, let’s keep making a difference!

B-SAFE Scientific Validation

The B-SAFE project, a drug detector pen for drinks, is validated and supported by Professor Jean-Claude Alvarez, toxicologist, professor of pharmacology-toxicology, and director of the toxicology laboratory at CHU Raymond-Poincaré/AP-HP in Garches.

An authority in toxicology, he is associated with leading research in France on psychoactive substances and chemical submission, within a national ecosystem also represented in public debate by voices such as Sandrine Josso and Caroline Darian.

This validation strengthens B-SAFE’s technological positioning and the accuracy of its detection for preventing drugs in drinks. Discover the B-SAFE product sheet.
